Are the documents that I hand over to the translation agency subject to a non-disclosure agreement?
Our certification in accordance with ISO EN 17100 obliges us to ensure information security. We translate a lot of content that is subject to embargo periods or additional non-disclosure agreements, so confidentiality is a matter of course for us.
Which languages can I get my documents translated into?
With 450 professional translators all around the world, we’ve got virtually every language combination covered. All of our translators translate exclusively into their mother tongue.
Will our company have access to the translations?
We offer a customer portal where every translated sentence can be retrieved. Your corporate language and optional machine translation services can also be integrated here.
What is a TMS and what are its benefits?
The translation memory system (TMS) helps our native professional translators as it remembers every sentence in the source and target language. The TMS will suggest any matches the next time they come up. However, it’s the translator rather than the database that is responsible for deciding whether the matches are acceptable in each case.
We have a company glossary – can you use it?
We can import your existing terminology and make sure that it is used in each and every project. Our database shows our professional translators every time a term appears, and compliance is checked in our quality assurance process.
How do you guarantee consistent quality at all times?
Our professional translators have either a university degree or many years of experience – almost all of them have both. We also regularly assess their work according to a standard that is based on and has been further developed from SAE J2450.
